Tomorrow will be my official first day at work…

Am I nervous? I am a wreck right now!

Will it be ok? I hope so!

Can I make it? I have to!

So…let’s get ready to rumble!

Inspired by a true event
Where everyone shared not just booze but wisdom as well

It started with a meal
Followed by buckets load of San Mig
And in between were stories rendered
Chatter…chatter and more chatter

As the night darkens
There came the "Zombie"
A pitcherful of red
Chatter…chatter and more chatter

Supposed
All was not enough
For "Weng-Weng" came and conquered us all
Chatter…chatter and more chatter

Laughters ruled the night
Everyone loosened up
Amid the smoke effected from the cigars
Chatter…chatter and more chatter

For who are we to deny
Such pleasure so contagious
Wash it all down with coffee
Chatter…chatter and more chatter

Until the morning sun is near to wake
From darkness to light
We all enjoyed
Chatter…chatter and more chatter

GOODLUCK TEAM AUSTRALIA!

I choose today
To write what I want
Regardless of what other people expects of me
For if not today
When will be the right time
To say that I dont care anymore
How others feel towards me

When everyone chooses to lie
I write of truth
For freedom to reign
And teardrops to drain
What it is that they say
With lips tightly closed
Why whisper away everything

I assume that honesty is rewarding
For after the hurting
It can only get better
When I stand before you
Naked as I am
No bars to hold me down
Shadowless guilt dissipitates

When I have conquered myself
Everyone else lost the war
They can only say that much
They can only hurt me that much
For I choose not to fight with swords
Instead I choose to write
To come clean when everyone’s lying

And that is my flaw…
And that is who I am…
And that is who I want to be…

Yes,

I acknowledge…

That forever scares me

More than being with someone
It is the commitment that scares me
Waking up everyday with that same person

For how long?
Til when can we both take it?
When everything else begins to fade?

For us,
To begin our forever
With hands clasping each other

How do I know?

I just know…

For each day that I wake up, I see you lying beside me

A mother had gone out with the exact amount of money she needed to take her son to the movies. The boy was excited, and every minute asked his mother how long it would take to get there. When she was stopped at a traffic light, she saw a beggar seated on the sidewalk. "Give all the money you have with you to him," she heard a voice say.

The mother argued with the voice. She had promised to take her son to the movies. "Give it all," the voice insisted. "I can give him half, and my son can go in alone while I wait outside," she said. But the voice didn’t want to discuss it. "Give it all!" She had no time to explain it to the boy. She stopped the car and held out all the money she had to the beggar.

"God exists, and you have proved it to me," the beggar said. "Today is my birthday. I was sad, and ashamed to be begging. So, I decided not to beg: If God exists, he will give me a present."

In a bar in a remote village in Spain, close to the city of Olite, there is a sign placed there by the owner.

"Just as I succeeded in finding all the answers, all the questions changed."

We are always concerned with finding answers. We feel that answers are important to understand what life means.

It is more important to live fully, and allow time to reveal to us the secrets of our existence.

If we are too concerned with making sense of life, we prevent nature from acting, and we become unable to read God’s signs.

We go out into the world in search of our dreams and ideals. Often we make inaccessible that which is within our reach. When we realize the error, we feel we have wasted our time, seeking in the distance what was close at hand. We blame ourselves for making such a mistake, for our useless search and for the problems we have caused.

The master says: "Although the treasure may be buried in your house, you will find it only if you leave in search of it."

If Peter had not experienced the pain of rejection, he would not have been chosen as the head of the church. If the prodigal son had not abandoned everything, he would not have been given a feast by his father.

"There are certain things in our lives that carry a seal that says: ‘You will appreciate my value only after you have lost me…and recovered me.’ It does no good to try to shorten the path."
